The film begins with the return home of a wwII veteran who was the recipient of a "Dear John Letter". After swiftly dispatching a courting couple in a Gazebo we leap to present day where a college celebration becomes the hunting ground for a uniform clad killer.

I love this film. Great kills and a really cool killer. Great example of good 80's slashers.

Here I come to be the only person in the world to be mean to The Prowler, alright do not get me wrong it is not bad at all. But how is it better then any other 80's slashers. The gore is nice but I have seen it before, there is nothing happening between kills. And the end is a rip off. Don't see why this is so loved.

How is the end a rip-off?

It is a rip off of Brian De Palma films, the dead guy comes alive and attacked the main girl, then we realize she is dreaming, Rolling Eyes come on Carrie did that and his other films as well. RIP OFF!

Sorta like FRIDAY THE 13TH, huh?

Except "the dead guy" was only talked about earlier in the film.
